The Union Trust remained an independent bank until it was purchased in the 1960's. During the next several decades it served as a bank under many different names. Finally in 1991 the bank closed and in 1996 renovations began changing the spectacular space into a restaurant and special events facility incorporating the 20 foot high windows and décor from its era. The location is a great venue to enjoy outstanding food and drinks at its impressive bar and two-floor setting. Afterwards there will be time to explore downtown Providence and visit the many sites and sounds of this New England capital city. |
