| 6:30pm - 11:00pm | Event Night - Reception and Dinner Federal Reserve Building Sponsored by mtvU The Historic Federal Reserve Building in downtown Providence began its life in 1901 as the Union Trust Bank. The Union Trust remained an independent bank until it was purchased in the 1960's. During the next several decades it served as a bank under many different names. Finally in 1991 the bank closed and in 1996 renovations began changing the spectacular space into a restaurant and special events facility incorporating the 20 foot high windows and décor from its era. The location is a great venue to enjoy outstanding food and drinks at its impressive bar and two-floor setting. Afterwards there will be time to explore downtown Providence and visit the many sites and sounds of this New England capital city. |
